PROCEDURE
- Khoya - 250 gms
- Mava - Badam + Kaju + Pista (roughly ground) + Kismis + Chirounji - 250 gms
- Rava - 2Tbsp
- Powdered sugar to taste
- Maida - 300 gms
- Oil - 100 ml (For Kneading); 400 ml (To fry)
PROCEDURE
- Roast the Khoya till golden brown
- Drain excess ghee and let it cool
- Roast Rava till golden brown and add to the Khoya
- Add the Mava mix
- When completely cool add Sugar as per taste
- Warm 100 ml Oil and slowly add to the maida all the while kneading the mixture
- Knead the dough finally with warm water and cover with a damp cloth to prevent dryness
- Make small balls (1/2" diameter) and roll them out into small rotis
- Fill in the Khoya mix and seal with a little wet Maida paste
- Knead the rope like design and keep it in moist cloth till 5/6 are ready for frying
- Fry till light golden brown in colour and take it out
- The internal heat will turn them into a deep golden colour
