NOTE: Serve with chapati or rice
- Mutton pieces 1/2 kg.
- Apricot (seedless) 250 gms.
- Onions finely chopped. 3Nos.
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tea spoon.
- Oil 50 gms.
- Cinnamon 3 sticks.
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste.
- Water 2 cups.
- Coriander Finely chopped.
PROCEDURE
- Soak the seedless apricots in water for about 4 to 5 hrs.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Fry the finely chopped onions till they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry for about 5 minutes.
- Add mutton pieces, salt and cinnamon and cook well.
- Add sufficient water and cook till the mutton becomes tender.
- Heat the sugar in another pan till it turns brown.
- Add the soaked apricots along with the water and boil.
- Lower the heat and let the apricots cook and turn soft.
- Add this to the cooked mutton and heat to form a thick gravy.
- Serve in a bowl and garnish it with finely chopped coriander.
NOTE: Serve with chapati or rice
