Ingredients
- Cucumber 1 no
- Carrot 1 no
- White vinegar 10 ml
- Powdered sugar 2 tbs
- Lime 1 no
- Citric acid 4 to 5 granules
- Ginger cut in julian (optimal)
- Salt to taste
Procedure
- Peal cucumber and carrot
- Cut them in thin slices
- Cut these slices into small pieces of about 1 -1 1/2 inch in length
- Put them in a bowl and add the powdered sugar, vinegar, and citric acid
- Add salt to taste
- Add a few julian cut ginger to give a tangy taste (optional)
- Squeeze as much lime as to suit your taste
- Cover the bowl with air tight plastic foil and refrigerate
- Serve with dinner as salad
